CLINTON, Iowa—The Truman Tennis team took on Loras College Friday, and in a competitive dual with four of nine matchups going to tiebreakers, the Bulldogs emerged victorious 7-2. The Bulldogs swept three points in doubles while winning four singles matches.

First singles: Allie Brown (TSU) over Isabel Schwabe 6-0, 6-1
Second singles: Akansha Negi (TSU) over Clair Moore 6-1, 6-1
Third singles: Caroline Hutchinson over Sam Seggerman (TSU) 6-4, 7-6 (7-5 tiebreaker)
Fourth singles: Julia Fangman (TSU) over Leia Papanicholas 6-2, 6-0
Fifth singles: Kennidy Shirey (TSU) over Dorothy Deans 0-6, 6-0, 12-10 tiebreaker
Sixth singles: Mariana Bayona Paez over Abbi Worster (TSU) 2-6, 6-3, 10-8 tiebreaker

First doubles: Brown/Negi (TSU) over Schwabe/Hutchinson 8-2
Second doubles: Seggerman/Fangman (TSU) over Papanicholas/Moore 8-4
Third doubles: Worster/Rachel Shelly (TSU) over Deans/Alex Oestreich 8-7 (7-2 tiebreaker)
The Bulldogs will be back in action Saturday as they take on both Coe College and Cornell College in Iowa, starting with Coe at 9 AM and then Cornell at 2 PM.
