ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Truman State volleyball was defeated 3-0 by University of Missouri - St. Louis Friday night.

The Bulldogs lost 25-14, 25-10, and 28-26 in a hard-fought third set. Truman took a 25-24 lead before the Tritons struck back and scored two in a row to make it 26-25. The Bulldogs tied it at 26 but lost the final two points in a valiant effort.

Hanna Berry and Jessica Proszenyak continue their good play with eight kills each, followed by Annabelle Crowder with six.

Emma Baierl had 15 more assists than the next closest Bulldog with 20 and she also led Truman in service aces with two.

Truman volleyball is back in action at Maryville, September 24, at 3:00 p.m.
