KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Truman Women's Golf team claimed the KC Cup on Tuesday with a 10-shot team victory over Rockhurst (Mo.) and an 11-shot edge over William Jewell.
Natalie Fatka,
Reese Stovall and
Kara Hunt all placed within the top 10 for the Bulldogs.

The six teams in the field played 36 holes on Monday at the Outlaw Course at Smithville Lake. The Bulldogs shot 323 in round one behind Hunt's 79.

Round two saw Truman fire their lowest 18-hole team score since 2017 when they shot a 314.
Natalie Fatka had four birdies in the round and shot a one-under 35 on the back to card a 73. She birdied three of her final five holes.
Reese Stovall shot a steady 75 with a +1 on the front and +2 on the back.

Day two saw Fatka shot a 79 to tie for fifth place overall with a 234. Stovall was all alone in eight position with an 82 for a three-round total of 239. Hunt shot 82 for a tie for ninth.

Jordan Marshall finished in 15
th after rounds of 80-85-86 (251) and
Catherine Salem improved each round to tie for 16
th (91-82-81).

The Bulldogs shot 324 on day two while Rockhurst shot 332 and Jewell 331.

The team returns to action October 10-11 at the Virginia McCoy Invite hosted by Park College in Parkville, Missouri.
