WARRENSBURG, Mo. - The Truman State Golf team completed the Midwest Intercollegiate on Tuesday at Mules National Golf Club in Warrensburg. The Bulldogs improved by 25 shots between the first and second rounds with Reese Stovall leading the way for the team in a tie for 66th.

Stovall had the best round for the Bulldogs in the 36-hole event with a 79 on day one. She fired an 85 on the second day with a birdie on her ninth hole to score 164 for the tournament. 

Catherine Salem had three birdies in her second round to shoot an 83 and a two-day total of 173 for a tie for 87th position. Ana Gonzalez had the biggest improved between rounds, taking 14 shots off her first round score and carded the lowest second 18-hold score on day two for Truman State with an 82. 

Madalyn Breckenridge had a 10-shot improvement from the first day and finished in 110th position. 

The Bulldogs shot 370 on Monday and 345 on Tuesday.

The team will head back to the area next week to participate in the RoadRunner Fall Invitational, 30 miles to the east in Sedalia, Missouri.
