Stovall, Jarrett, Breckenridge Named CSC Academic All-District

KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – Truman State women's golfers Reese Stovall, Claire Jarrett, and Madalyn Breckenridge have been named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District At-Large Team, recognizing their combined achievements in the classroom and in competition. The CSC Academic All-District program honors student-athletes who excel both academically and athletically, with nominees required to meet stringent grade point average standards while competing as key contributors for their programs.

Stovall caps her decorated Bulldog career by adding Academic All-District recognition to an already impressive senior season. The All-GLVC Second Team selection was Truman's most consistent performer throughout the 2025-26 campaign, regularly leading the Bulldogs across the spring schedule. She recorded a pair of top-30 finishes at the Arkansas Collegiate (81-82—163) and the Midwest Intercollegiate Invitational (87-82—169), and turned in her best spring result at the Flyers Spring Invite with a tie for 15th after an opening-round 80.

Stovall closed her collegiate career at the GLVC Championships with rounds of 80-80-83 (243), finishing tied for 29th. Her senior-year success followed a standout career that included a tournament victory at the Columbia Cougar Classic in the fall and four career top-five finishes.

Breckenridge, meanwhile, continues to distinguish herself on and off the course. The junior was Truman's recipient of the GLVC James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award earlier this spring, an honor that recognizes excellence in sportsmanship, ethical conduct, and academic standing. Breckenridge competed in all four spring tournaments for the Bulldogs. She finished tied for 56th at the Arkansas Collegiate (95-92, 187/+43), 55th at the Midwest Intercollegiate Invitational (95-99, 194/+50), tied for 61st at the Flyers Spring Invite (95-45, 140/+32), and tied for 61st at the GLVC Championships (81-96-88, 265/+49).

Jarrett also earned Academic All-District honors following a spring campaign in which she competed in all four events for Truman. She posted a season-best finish of 45th at the Midwest Intercollegiate Invitational and followed it with a 50th-place showing at the Arkansas Collegiate. Jarrett added a 60th-place finish at the Flyers Spring Invitational and closed the season at the GLVC Championships, gaining valuable postseason experience. Across the spring slate, Jarrett demonstrated growth and resilience against competitive fields while maintaining strong academic performance, earning her place alongside her teammates on the CSC list.

With three honorees, Truman State women's golf continues to demonstrate its commitment to excellence beyond the scorecard, combining competitive success with high-level academic achievement.
