KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Truman State volleyball fell 3-1 to 17-4 Rockhurst Friday night in Kansas City.
The Bulldogs took the first set 25-20, but dropped the next three 25-21, 25-19, and 25-15 to take their ninth loss of the season.
Hanna Berry and Allison Beaton each had eight kills in the match. Elise Gibson had seven, Dani Kurth had six, Jessica Proszenyak had five, Jessie Julius had three, and Tori Creason had two. Beaton hit .300 in the game.
Emma Baierl recorded 19 assists and Tori Creason was not far behind with 17. Proszenyak and Lexi Arnel also had an assist each.
The Bulldogs had five service aces, with Molly McGurn leading the team with two.
Proszenyak, Arnel, Creason, and Julius all had double-digit digs.
The Bulldogs take on William Jewell tomorrow at 3 p.m. in Liberty, Mo.
