KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - Truman State volleyball took a 3-0 victory against Southwest Baptist on Friday night to get to 8-8 on the season and 1-3 in the GLVC.
The Bulldogs beat the Bearcats 26-24, 25-18, and 25-22.
In the first set, the Bulldogs came back from an 18-11 SBU lead to take it in extra points.
The second set was all Truman, taking it by seven points.
The third and final set was close again, with the Bulldogs winning by three.
Allison Beaton led Truman in kills with six, while hitting .667. Beaton also had an assist, and three digs.
Hanna Berry, Jessica Proszenyak, and Jessie Julius all had five kills. Proszenyak had 12 digs and Julius had 10.
Emma Baierl and Tori Creason led the Bulldogs in assists with 12 and 11.
Lexi Arnel had 14 digs which led the squad.
Truman has a quick turnaround and is back in action tomorrow, October 7th, at 6 p.m. against Drury at home.
