KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - Truman State volleyball came back from a 2-0 deficit to defeat conference opponent Drury 3-2.
The first and second sets were won by Drury 25-22 and 25-20.
The Bulldogs took the third set 25-12, the fourth 25-11, and the extra fifth set 15-8.
Truman outscored Drury 65-31 in the final three sets.
Jessica Proszenyak and Allison Beaton both had double-digit kills. Proszenyak had 14 and Beaton recorded 10.
Lexi Arnel was incredible serving in the match, recording four aces.
Emma Baierl and Tori Creason led the team in assists. Baierl had 24 and Creason had 17.
Five Bulldogs had 10+ digs in the match.
Creason, Elise Gibson, and Allison Beaton all hit over .300.
Truman moves to 9-8 overall and 2-3 in GLVC contests.
The Bulldogs compete next in the Midwest Region Crossover in Hammond, Ind. from October 13-October 14.
