KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - Truman State Women's basketball handled Blackburn College with ease in an exhibition game, defeating the Beavers 119-35.
The Bulldogs outscored Blackburn 29-11 in the first quarter, 32-3 in the second, 31-16 in the third, and 27-5 in the final quarter of play.
Lizzie Boehm had an excellent game, dropping 23 points in 9-17 shooting. She also had three boards, three steals, and an assist.
Lexie White, Ainsley Tolson, Ellie Weltha, and Bryan Duwe were the four other Bulldogs with double-digit points. Weltha and White led the team in rebounds with eight and seven.
Gracie Neff racked up the assists, dishing out nine in the game.
As a team, Truman shot 44-86 (51.2%) from the field and 12-32 (37.5%) from behind the arc.Â
The Bulldogs return to GLVC play on Wednesday, January 3rd, at 5:15 p.m. at home against Indianapolis.
