ST. LOUIS - The Truman State Women's Tennis team restarted their season with a non-conference loss to Missouri-St. Louis on Friday evening by a score of 6-1. 

The Bulldogs lost the opening doubles point but fought hard in the two contested matches. Akansha Negi and Allie Brown battled to a 6-3 loss at number one and Samantha Seggerman and Julia Fangman fell by the identical score at number two.

Sydney Dial lost in a hard-fought contest at #4 to Anna Favaron 6-4, 6-3 while the lone team point for the Bulldogs was a default victory at number six awarded to Julia Fangman.

The Bulldogs return to the courts next Friday in Springfield, Missouri against Evangel College.
