SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The Truman State Tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to Evangel (Mo.) on Friday afternoon. The Bulldogs will next be in action on February 25 against the College of Saint Mary in Omaha, Nebraska.
The Bulldogs fell 2-1 in doubles play with Samantha Seggerman and Julia Fangman winning 6-4 at the number two spot.
In singles action, Sydney Dial picked up a straight set win of 6-2, 6-0 at number five singles for the lone team point. Kennedy Shirey and Abbi Worster both won their first sets but were extended to a third set tie breaker before falling in each.
