KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – The Truman State University women's tennis team has been recognized for its success in the classroom by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), earning ITA All-Academic Team honors for the 2025-26 academic year.
The Bulldogs posted a 3.65 team grade-point average, surpassing the ITA's 3.20 GPA requirement for All-Academic Team recognition. The award highlights programs that demonstrate excellence both on the court and in the classroom.
In addition to the team honor, seven Bulldogs were named ITA Scholar-Athletes:
The Bulldogs' success in the classroom matched their accomplishments on the court during the 2025-26 season. Truman State finished with a 12-10 overall record, earned multiple victories in GLVC play, and was recognized with the GLVC Sportsmanship Team Award earlier this summer. The combination of competitive success, sportsmanship, and academic achievement reflects the culture established within the program and the commitment of its student-athletes to excellence in all areas of the collegiate experience.
