KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - Truman State baseball split a two-game series with future GLVC opponent Upper Iowa on Friday afternoon.
Game One:
Upper Iowa took game one 5-3, scoring two of their runs in the first.
Kevin Donahue hit a three-run jack in the third, scoring Dylan Thompson and Holden Missey.
The Peacocks added three more in the fifth.
Holden Missey went 3-4 with a run.
Kevin Donahue went 1-4, his hit being the home run.
Zachry Schneider took his second loss after throwing five innings and striking out six batters.
Game Two:
Holden Missey showed his dynamic play by going 2-3 at the plate and throwing five innings, leading the Bulldogs to a 10-3 victory.
Dylan Thompson went up 3-0 in the first after Dylan Thompson hit a three-run home run.
Upper Iowa scored one in the second, and two in the fourth.
The Bulldogs scored seven more runs in the second, third, and fifth innings.
Holden Missey went 2-4 with three RBI, a run, while throwing five innings, striking out five, and giving up two earned runs.
Dylan Thompson went 2-4 with three RBI and a run.
Simon Murray went 2-2 with three RBI and two runs.
Luke Turner went 2-2 with an RBI and two runs.
Truman plays two against Parkside on Sunday, March 12th at home.
