KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – The Bulldog Tennis team lost 7-0 to Rockhurst at home on Friday afternoon. They are scheduled to wrap up the season Saturday hosting William Jewell but weather is forcing a change until Monday at 2 p.m.

Two of the three doubles matches were decided by break points and 6-4 set scores with Sofia Valdespino and Marina Magai defeating Allie Brown and Akansha Negi at number one and Kaleigh Isgett and Morgan Marshall downing Kennidy Shirey and Calli Hepfinger at number three.

Negi put up one of the strongest fights by the Bulldogs in singles at number two. She lost the first set by a break 6-4 then pushed set two into a 7-5 finish, falling in two tough sets.
