TERRA HAUTE, Ind. – The Truman State Cross Country teams returned to action against some top Division I talent as they competed in the John McNichols Invitational hosted by Indiana State University. The men placed 16
th with 460 points while the women were 12
th with 337 points.
The Bulldog men ran the eight-kilometer LaVern Gibson Championship course with
Gavin Hill being the first Truman State runner to cross the finish line. Hill ran 26:15.6 to finish in 108
th position. Evan AuBuchon was next in 114
th with a time of 26:19.4.
Ryan Harness clocked 26:26.8 to place 119
th.
Aiden Wahrenbrock was the fourth Bulldog runner in 134
th and a time of 26:37.7 and the final scorer for Truman was
Trystn Hammer in 150
th place and a time of 26:53.6.
The remainder of the squad finished in this order,

The women ran five kilometers and
Addie Mathis,
Lexy Henrikson and
Kate Yates all finished within two seconds of one another. Mathis was 57
th overall and 18:50.8, Henrikson was 58
th at 18:51.7 and Yates was 62
nd at 18:54.5.
Breanna Mathes was the fourth Bulldog at 88
th place and a time of 19:18.7.
Ellie Webb rounded out the team score with a time of 19:55.4, good for 112
th position.
