ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - Truman State volleyball improved to 5-5 on the season last night against Lee and Christian Brothers, taking wins against both.
Game One:
The Bulldogs won the first game 3-1, losing the first set 25-21, but taking the next three 25-21, 25-15, and 26-24.
Allison Beaton, Jessie Julius, and Jessica Proszenyak all had double-digit kills, with Beaton and Julius having 13 each. Proszenyak recorded 12. Julius hit .480 in the game, had four aces, and led in total points with 17.
Emma Baierl had 35 assists along with two kills. Baierl also had two aces.
Game Two:
Truman defeated Christian Brothers for the second time this season 3-1. Christian Brothers took set one 25-21 before the Bulldogs won three-straight with scores of 25-17, 25-11, and 25-17.
Elise Gibson was the lone Bulldog with double-digit kills with 10. Seven other Bulldogs recorded kills, with Dani Kurth hitting .500.
Baierl and Treason each had 19 assists, with Creason adding five aces to her performance.
The Bulldogs play two more today against Union and host Henderson State.
