KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - Truman State suffered a loss to GLVC opponent Upper Iowa in five sets on Saturday afternoon.

Truman took the first and third sets, winning the first 25-17 and the third 25-14. The Peacocks won the second, fourth, and fifth sets. Upper Iowa scored 71 points to Truman's 67.

Jessica Proszenyak led Truman in kills with 12, followed by nine from Hanna Berry, and eight each Jessie Julius and Dani Kurth.

Emma Baierl and Proszenyak each had three aces. Lexi Arnel, Jessie Julius, and Allison Beaton each had a ace.

Baierl had 24 assists and freshman Tori Creason had 12.

Arnel led in digs with 14, Julius had nine, and Baierl had seven.
