Bulldogs Go To Joplin And Draw Against MSSU

JOPLIN, Mo. - Truman State went on the road to take on Missouri Southern State where the teams tied 1-1.

Jessica Kozol got the Bulldogs on the board in the 8th minute, assisted by Olivia Morris. Truman had one other shot on goal in the first half by Quinn Nauman. 

MSSU scored in the 58th minute to tie it 1-1 on a goal from Tori Hays.

Lia Quintero had a shot on goal in the 70th minute that was saved.

Tatumn Damron had a good game at goalie, saving six shots while allowing the one goal.

Truman plays their first home game of the season on Sunday, September 10th, at Noon at Stokes Stadium.
