Two Rockhurst goals snap Truman State Women’s Soccer streak

KIRKSVILLE, MO. – Rockhurst used two first-half strikes to keep Truman State from its third consecutive women's soccer victory Friday.
 
An unassisted goal in the 16th minute from the Jacie Tottleben broke the scoreless tie, and Anna Lantz netted an insurance goal in the 34th minute to give Rockhurst the 2-0 advantage.
 
Emma Thompson and Lia Quintero tallied the lone shots on goal for Truman State while Tatumn Damron notched two saves.
 
The Bulldogs, 3-4-3 overall, 2-3-2 in GLVC competition, play host to William Jewell (Mo.) at noon Sunday.
