MARYVILLE, Mo. – The Truman State Women's Golf team wrapped up their fall portion of their schedule with a solid team finish at the Midwest Fall Golf Classic hosted by Northwest Missouri State University.
The Bulldogs shot 323 on Monday and backed up a bit to 339 on Tuesday to place seventh in the 12-team Division II school field.
Kylie Secrest carded four birdies on day two and fired a five-over par 77 to jump eight spots into a tie for fifth place. Secrest birdied three of the four par fives on the Mozingo Lakes Golf Course and finished with a two-day total of 155, just four shots out of second place.
Reese Stovall had two birdies on Tuesday and shot an 83. Stovall started the tournament with an even par 36 on the front nine Monday and finished with an 80 for a two-day score of 163 and in a tie for 20
th place.
Ana Gonzalez posted scores of 82 and 88 and shot 170, good for a tie for 32
nd.
Claire Jarrett started strong on Monday with an 83 but backed up a bit on Tuesday for a two-day score of 182 and in a tie for 57
th.
Lauren Prys had three birdies during the tournament and shot rounds of 96 and 91 to finish 64
th.
