ST. LOUIS - In their final regular season tournament, the Truman State Women's Golf competed at the 54-hole Missouri-St. Louis Invitational at the historic Norwood Hills Country Club over the weekend.
Reese Stovall led the team and finished 45th in the field top players throughout Division II in the Midwest. Stovall carded rounds of 79, 78 and 81 for a three-round score of 238. She had a birdie in each of the three rounds and her lowest single nine score was a 37 on the front side of round one on Sunday.
Ana Gonzalez was next on the team with a 256 with rounds of 88, 82 and 86. She finished in 79th position.
Lauren Prys put together three rounds in the 80s. She shot 89 and trimmed four shots off on her second tour of the course on Sunday. On Monday, Prys turned in an 88.Â
Claire Jarrett went 88 and 94 on day one and then made three birdies on Monday, including a lengthy putt on her final hole to shoot 85. She finished 93rd.
Madalyn Breckenridge had consistent 95s on Sunday and was able to take a few strokes off on Monday to finish with a 283.
The Bulldogs shot 344, 339 and 340 in each round.
The team will head to Coal Valley, Illinois for the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship meet April 25-27.Â
