ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Truman State Tennis dropped a 6-1 decision at the hands of Missouri Western on Sunday afternoon. The Bulldogs are back on the courts Tuesday at home against the University of St. Mary (Kan.) with a 3 p.m. start time.
 
The Griffons took the first two doubles matches by 6-2 scores to take the first point of the match. Finley Laforge and Alayna Dostal battled to a 6-4 loss at number three.
 
Missouri Western then grabbed the first five singles matches, all by straight sets. Amelia Willing scored the Bulldogs team point with a 6-3, 6-3 victory at the number six spot.
