KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - The Washburn Ichabods returned to Pershing Arena and handed the Truman State Women's Basketball team an 81-59 set back on Friday morning as part of "Field Trip" day. The Bulldogs will have a quick turnaround as they will have a non-conference date with Quincy (Ill.) on Saturday at 5:15 p.m.

The Ichabods shot 55% from the floor and led wire-to-wire in dealing the Bulldogs their third straight loss. Payton Stark led Washburn with a game-high 22 points and knocked down five three-pointers. 

Truman State received 18 points from Jordan Cunningham and she was a perfect 3-for-3 from beyond the arc. Molly Joyce finished with 12. The Bulldogs shot just 40% on the afternoon.

The team welcomed several area schools to the game and they provided a festive atmosphere.
