KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - Truman State won their sixth game in a row and 10th conference game in a 92-84 win over Missouri S&T.
The Bulldogs kept the Miners at arm's length for the last 10 minutes of the first-half, going into the break up 45-37.
Missouri S&T slowly chipped away at the Truman lead, tying the game 58-58 with 12:10 left in the game. The two teams kept kept trading scores, but the Bulldogs were able to fight off the S&T comeback for an eight-point win.
Xavier Hall had his second straight 20+ scoring game, dropping a team-high 22 points on 9-15 shooting. Hall had an additional three rebounds, three assists, and one steal.
Kobi Williams scored 19 points with five his scores coming from behind the arc. He also had two rebounds, three assists, and three steals.
Brennan Lovette was right behind Williams in scoring with 17 on 6-8 shooting. Lovette tallied six rebounds and five assists.
Trey Shearer also had double-digit points, scoring 13. Shearer had a team-high six assists along with three rebounds.
Landon Eiland had eight points and seven rebounds which led the team.
Casen Lawrence scored six points, Matt Haefner had five, and CE Talton had two.
Joe Knutson had two rebounds and a steal.
Truman State is 13-11 overall and 9-2 at home.
The Bulldogs play their final two home games next week against Illinois Springfield and Quincy.
