DESTIN, Fla. - The Truman State women's golf team returned to action at their traditional spot at the Emerald Coast Collegiate Classic. The Bulldogs shot rounds of 354, 344 and 348 while Reese Stovall led the team with a 54-hole score of 251.
The Division II tournament, hosted by the University of Missouri-St. Louis, takes place at the Baytowne Golf Club. Stovall had the lowest single 18-hole round when she shot 80 on day two of the event. Catherine Salem was only one shot back that same round with an 81.
Ana Gonzalez shot an 86 in the first round for her low score of the tournament. Madalyn Breckenridge put her best score of 88 in round three and newcomer Lauren Prys carded a 91 to finish the tournament strong.Â
The Bulldogs will see some familiar teams next Monday and Tuesday at the Drury Spring Classic in Bolivar, Missouri.Â
