KIRKSVILLE, Mo.  – Six Truman State Basketball players were named Academic All-District by the College Sports Communicators. Women's players Emma Bulman, Gracie Neff, Claire Rake and Ellie Weltha were joined by men's players Casen Lawrence and Trey Shearer.

To be eligible for the award, players must have a minimum 3.50 grade point average and have competed in 90% of their institution's games during the season. In addition, schools are limited to a capped number of nominations.

Selected members are eligible for submission to the Academic All-America ballot with winners announced released later in April.
