KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - The Truman State Tennis team began their Great Lakes Valley Conference match slate by hosting Quincy University on Saturday at the Truman Tennis Courts. 

Quincy took the match by a 7-0 score. 

The Hawks grabbed the doubles point by sweeping the Bulldogs in the three matches, the first two by 6-0 scores. Alayna Dostal and Cora Woods lost 6-1 at number three.

Singles were decided in straight sets with Abbi Worster's bout at number four seeing a see-saw affair. The first set was decided by a 7-5 score and the second was 6-2 in favor of QU.

The Bulldogs will play at Central (Iowa) College on Wednesday.
