ST. LOUIS - The Truman Women's Golf team showed improvement in each of the three rounds of the Missouri-St. Louis Triton Invitational that concluded on Monday. The Bulldogs shot rounds of 341, 336 and 334.

Catherine Salem edged out Reese Stovall for low individual honors for the Bulldogs. Salem fired rounds of 85, 83 and 80 in the 54-hole event for a total of 248. Stovall was only two shots back at 250 with rounds of 85, 82 and 83.

Ana Gonzalez was third on the squad with a 253 of consistency rounds of 85, 83, 85.

Lauren Prys bettered her score each round with 92, 88 and 86 for a 256. 

Madalyn Breckenridge opened with an 86 then shot two straight 94s to finish with a total of 274.

The Bulldogs were six shots better as a team over Kentucky Wesleyan and 17 ahead of conference member Lewis.

Speaking of conference, that will be the next stop for the team as the GLVC Championships will begin on April 26th at the Oakwood Country Club in Coal Valley, Illinois.
