Tennis Drops Both Ends On KC Road Swing

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Truman State Tennis team fell by 7-0 scores to William Jewell and Rockhurst on their weekend conference road swing through Kansas City. The Bulldogs return home to host Drury and Southwest Baptist for senior weekend starting on Friday in Kirksville.

Against the Cardinals on Friday, Samantha Seggerman and Cora Wood battled to a 6-3 loss at number three doubles while the other two were decided by 6-0 and 6-1 scores. 

Sydney Dial fought hard before loosing 6-4, 6-4 at number three. Allie Brown lost 6-2, 6-4 at number one and Worster fell 6-4, 6-1 at number four.

Saturday, Rockhurst took the top singles match 6-3 and the other two by 6-0 and 6-1 scores. Singles also went the Hawks way in straight sets.
