KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – The Drury Panthers downed the Truman Tennis team 6-1 on Thursday in a match that was moved up to beat the weather. The Bulldogs will wrap up the regular season on Saturday hosting Southwest Baptist.
 
The Panthers secured the doubles point with 6-1 wins at numbers two and 6-0 at three while Sydney Dial and Allie Brown put up a 6-3 fight in the number one doubles spot.
 
Brown would earn the team point for the Bulldogs as she was leading 5-4 in the first set when the Drury player had to retire due to an injury.
 
Samantha Seggerman found some success in her number five singles match before falling by set scores of 6-3 and 6-2.
