KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - Truman State (1-1-1 overall) and Missouri Southern (0-1-2) played to a 0-0 draw in a Thursday afternoon women's soccer match at Stokes Stadium.
The Bulldog attack, led by six shots total from sophomore forward Lia Quintero, were stymied by the Lion defense and seven saves from keeper Bella Smith. Truman State's senior keeper Tatumn Damron notched seven saves with the defense holding Missouri Southern to ten shots total.
This coming Sunday's match against UINDY to open GLVC action marks the end of four consecutive home dates to open the season. The Bulldogs look to end a six-game winless streak against the Greyhounds with the last victory coming in a home match on October 12, 2018, by a 2-0 final.
