KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - The Truman State Women's Soccer team opened up Great Lakes Valley Conference action with a scoreless draw with the University of Indianapolis on Sunday afternoon at Stokes Stadium.
UINDY outshot the Bulldogs 9-7 but shots on goal was even at three apiece. Truman State had the advantage in corner kicks 7-4.
The Greyhounds were awarded a penalty with about 15 minutes left to play and Stephanie Brady's attempt sailed high above the crossbar.
The Bulldogs put on a late push with Lia Quintero's shot saved with about six minutes left to play.
Tatum Damron recorded her second straight shutout.
Truman will head to Illinois Springfield on Friday to face the Prairie Stars at 5 p.m.
