PEORIA, Ill. - The Truman State Women's Cross Country team placed second with 53 points to finish behind Division I and host Bradley University at the Bradley Intercollegiate on Friday evening.

Addie Mathis was fourth overall and the first Bulldog to cross the line on the three-mile course in 17:13.90. Lexy Henrikson was next in 12th overall position in 17:51.30.

Cora Stimpson, Kate Yates and Clare Stahr nabbed the final team points with a 15th, 16th and 18th finish overall. Breanna Mathes and Lydia Lehmbeck were just behind that group in 19th and 20th respectively.

The men did not race due to the heat in the Midwest and will make up their race by heading to Mizzou next Friday morning to compete in the Gans Creek Classic.
