ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - Landon Keisker's goal in the 82nd minute allowed the Truman Men's Soccer team to pick up a road point in a 1-1 draw with Lewis (Ill.) University on Sunday.
The Flyers grabbed the lead in the first half when Robert Gorodnickis beat Justin Olwig on the low left side in the 40th minute of action.
The Bulldogs had a deep throw in and used it like a set piece to get the equalizer. The toss was sent into the box and after volleying around for a few touches, Keisker struck it from inside the six-yard box to the back of the net. It was his first goal of the seasonÂ
Each team had only two shots on goal and a total of 10 shots were taken during the match.Â
The Bulldogs have earned points in their last three league games and will host Quincy next Sunday at 2:30 p.m.Â
