DES MOINES, Iowa – The Truman State Tennis team ran into a stout squad from Morningside (Iowa) College on Thursday and dropped a dual by a score of 7-0. The Bulldogs return to action against Grand View at 2 p.m. on Friday.
 
The Mustangs swept all three doubles matches to take the first team point. They won 6-1 at number one, 6-2 at both numbers two and three.
 
Sydney Dial battled Line Jensen to a hard-fought 6-3, 6-2 loss at number one singles. Finley Laforge played strong at number three before falling in straight sets as did Mary Grace Seymore at number four singles.
 
The Bulldogs drop to 6-4 in dual matches.
