DES MOINES, Iowa – The Truman Tennis team completed their trip to Des Moines on Friday with a 7-0 victory over Grand View (Iowa.). The Bulldogs will be back in action next Saturday against Principia (Ill.).
 
The Bulldogs won the doubles point by taking all three matches. Sydney Dial and Nayana Malangi won 6-2 at number one, Abbi Worster and Finley Laforge blanked their opponents for a 6-0 win at two and Mary Grace Seymore and Himari Maruyama won by default at number three.
 
Dial outlasted Grand View's Melanie Ortega in the top singles spot to continue the momentum for the Bulldogs. She took the first set 6-4 and then battled back from a 4-5 deficit in two, winning the next three points and the tie-breaker to take the win,
 
The rest of the singles lineup played strong and only allowed one game to be won by Grand View among the eight sets that were played.
