OTTAWA, Kan. – The Truman State Tennis team lost 5-2 to Ottawa (Kan.) on Saturday. The Bulldogs will pick back up again starting on March 19-20.
 
The Braves won both contested doubles match to take the 1-0 lead. Sydney Dial and Finley Laforge forced a tie-breaking set but lost 7-6 (7-2) which clinched the doubles point.
 
Dial battled Valeria Rodriuez to a 6-3, 6-2 loss at number one and Laforge dropped a 7-5, 6-3 decision at number three. The Braves also won three and four singles.
