INDIANAPOLIS – Senior Nina Fenasci of the Truman State softball team was named this week's Great Lakes Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

Fenasci reached base in 11 of 13 plate appearances across four games over the weekend, batting .667 with a double, a home run, four runs scored, and two runs batted in.

She is currently on a six-game hitting streak, during which she has raised her season batting average from .270 to .338.

This marks the second Offensive Player of the Week award for the Bulldogs this season, with Fenasci joining teammate Cassie Smith in earning the honor.

Truman State will travel to Lincoln and Missouri S&T this weekend.
