Peoria, Ill. - The Truman State men's and women's cross country teams both finished fourth out of twenty-three teams at the Bradley Intercollegiate at Detweiller Park, competing well against a deep field of regional and Division I programs.
Truman's men were led by junior Gavin Hill, who ran a strong race up front to place 25th. The Bulldogs got solid follow-up from Nolan Meara and Jacob Gutzman, and depth from Evan Wilke and Andrew Kuehler helped Truman secure fourth as a team. Veterans and younger runners, including Max Hogan, Noah Thompson, and Dan Hahn provided additional depth and finishes later in the pack.
On the women's side, Truman posted a balanced performance with five scorers inside the top 40. Sophomore Clare Stahr paced the squad while senior Cora Stimpson and freshman Anna Ripley gave the Bulldogs strong mid-pack work to lock in a fourth-place team finish.
