2011: Redshirted the 2011 season ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

Junior Season (2010): Started 15 games and came off the bench in two others … as a midfielder, had four assists on the year… finished with two goals coming in back-to-back games against Maryville and Missouri S&T ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

Sophomore Season (2009): Played in 13 games and started in one for the Bulldogs ... assisted Drew Pauk off a corner kick against Upper Iowa on Oct. 18 for the game winning goal in the 94th minute ... scored a goal and had an assist against Texas-Permian Basin on Oct 21 ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll. 

Freshman Season (2008): Played in 17 games and started eight on the season … recorded two goals for four total points … scored his first collegiate goal in the 49th minute against Missouri-St. Louis on Oct. 15, a goal that helped propel the Bulldogs to victory … had another clutch performance in the very next game as he scored the game-winning goal against Missouri-S&T with just 17 seconds left. 

High School: An all-Metro and all-State selection for CBC following the 2007 season and was a member of the 2005 Missouri Class 3 State Championship team ... was a three-year starter and four-year letterwinner. 

Personal: Born November 20, 1989, in St. Louis, Mo. ... the son of Jim and Meg Backus ... majoring in Business Administration.
