2013 (Freshman Season): Made nine relief appearances, throwing nine and a third innings with seven strikeouts and six walks…longest outing was a two and a third inning appearance against Southwest Baptist on February 20…struck out three in two innings against Northeastern (Okla.) State on Febuary 24.

High School: Was a four-year letter winner at North Kansas City High School while also being the squad’s most valuable pitcher the past two seasons…was an honorable mention all-conference pick during his career…Academically, Brooks was the North Kansas City Rotary Club Student of the Month, member of the DECA Club and attended the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards camp.
