2013: Tied for the team-high in goals and is top returner for 2014 in total points from the '13 season after starting all 18 matches in the central midfield ... scored six times and added one assist for 13 total points ... took 30 shots, putting 14 on target ... recorded a two-goal game in the team's season-opening win against Iowa Wesleyan ... scored a 65th-minute goal to put Truman on top 1-0 at Missouri-St. Louis on Sept. 15 ... had a hand in all three goals during Truman's 3-1 home win against William Jewell on Oct. 6, scoring the team's first (14') and third (83') goals, while assisting the game-winning goal (38') ... scored in the final match of the season, getting Truman on the board at Quincy on Oct. 31.

2012: Named to the Daktronics all-region second team after playing in and starting all 17 matches during the years ... scored three goals, including a game-winner on Sept. 9 at Lindenwood-Belleville ... added the first goal of the match in just the second minute during Truman's 2-1 home win against nationally-ranked Fort Hays on Oct. 11 ... assisted Matt Langley's goal in the 82nd minute during a 3-0 Bulldog win against Southern Nazarene on Oct. 13 ... capped his three-match points run with the game's first goal in the 9th minute against Lindenwood on Oct. 19 ... took 13 total shots, putting six on frame.

2011: Played in all 17 matches as a true freshman, earning starts in the final 10 ... scored once with two total points on the season ... logged first collegiate goal at home against Lindenwood on Oct. 16 ... took 14 shots on the season ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll. 

High School
A three-year starter and letterwinner for head coach Mike Skordos at Parkway West … was part of the 2009 U16 and 2010 U17  State Cup championship team and was a USYSA national finalist in ’10 … won a MSHSAA class 3 district championship in 2008 … named first-team all-conference twice and picked up an additional second-team all-conference award once ... won the national championship for US Club U16 in 2009.

Nick is the son of Mark and Dee Franta … his birthday is May 17 … majoring in Business Administration.
