Biography

2014 (Junior Season): Was named a Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-American…earned second-team all-GLVC…broke school single-season record for hits (71), chances (516) and putouts (477)…started all 54 games at first base and led team in hitting with a .378 batting average…added 10 doubles, two triples and drove in 39 on the season…his .378 average was sixth in the GLVC and in the top 100 of Division II players…had a team-leading 25 multi-hit games including a pair of four hit performances, against Indianapolis (Ind.) on March 24 and again against the Greyhounds on May 9 in the GLVC Tournament…started the season off with an 8-game hitting streak with five straight games with two hits…had 10 multi-RBI games…enters his senior season on top of Truman’s career lists in chances (1209), putouts (1122), third in career batting average (.351), tenth in hits (154) and 11th in RBIs (84)…earned Academic All-GLVC.

2013 (Sophomore Season): Honorable mention all-MIAA after leading the team with a .371 average in 46 games played…was the ninth highest single-season average in Truman history and 10th best on-base percentage at .452…was third in Truman single-season with 59 hits and eighth in 11 doubles…had 34 RBIs and had a team best 13 game hitting streak…had 17 multi-hit games, including three, three-hit games and a four-hit game against Fort Hays St. on April 20…set a Truman single-season record with 420 putouts and had 451 chances with a .980 fielding percentage…named to the MIAA Commissioners Academic Honor Roll.

2012 (Freshman Season): Hit .261 in 33 games, making 28 starts as a true freshman…homered against Central Missouri on March 10 and Missouri Western on April 21…led the team with 225 putouts while making one error at first base for a .996 fielding percentage…struck out just 14 times in over 100 plate appearances…was named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

High School: Trenhaile was the Pirates 201 team captain and was a North Central Missouri all-Conference position player in 2010…for his career, he has hit .388 with three home runs, and 37 RBIs while having a .509 on-base percentage and a .503 slugging percentage…was named a second team all-state defensive end for the Hannibal football program as well as earning first-team all-conference as both a tight end and defensive end…on the basketball court, Trenhaile was a second team all-NCMC selection and earned the team’s “Hustle MVP” award…Trenhaile participated in Missouri’s Boys State, was an Academic All-NCMC honoree as well as earned academic all-State.
