Biography

2015 (Junior Season): Was Truman’s number one pitcher with 12 starts and two relief appearances…earned his only save against Missouri Western back on April 7…had a 4.33 ERA in 81 innings pitched…pitched 7.2 to earn win over Drury in regional tournament, allowed three runs on eight hits and fanned one…finished the season ninth on Truman’s career win chart with nine, fifth in games started with 30 and fifth in innings pitched with 207.2…earned GLVC Academic All-Conference.

2014 (Sophomore Season): Led pitching staff with 78 innings on the mound, starting 11 of 12 games…had a 2-5 record with a 3.92 ERA as the number one pitcher on the staff…allowed one earned run in a nine inning complete game 3-0 loss to William Jewell on May 3…struck out seven in seven innings while earning a 5-2 victory over Hillsdale (Mich.) on March 9…pitched a four-hit, complete-game shutout in first GLVC game against Wisconsin-Parkside on March 15…faced 37 hitters in a 9-7 win but did not get a decision in the GLVC tournament game against Lewis (Ill.) on May 8…earned Academic All-GLVC.

2013 (Freshman Season): Started seven of 14 games with a 2-5 record and a 6.84 ERA…first win came in relief when he threw six and a third innings in a 12-11 win over Northeastern State on Febuary 23…lost his only complete game by a 2-1 score against Lindenwood on March 21…struck out 24 batters in 48.2 innings pitched…member of the MIAA Commissioners Academic Honor Roll.

High School: Was a four-year starter for the Hoffman Estates baseball team and finished his high school career as the school’s career leader for strikeouts by a pitcher.
