Truman State University Athletics

2017 (Junior): First team All-GLVC pitcher…was tied for third in the conference in saves…Truman’s closer for the third straight year, notched seven saves, one off his previous school record of eight set in 2016…appeared in 17 games and made his first collegiate start…threw 16 innings and struck out 16 hitters…his only start came in a bullpen game against Southwest Baptist on March 22 in which he threw two innings…an Academic All-GLVC performer as well.

2016 (Sophomore): Set a Truman single-season record with eight saves during the year and tied for seventh in single-season appearances with 18…converted his first 14 save attempts which he sits atop the career charts in that category…had a 3-1 record with a team low 1.80 ERA…struck out 19 in 25 innings of work…longest outing was four innings in which he picked up the win in a 6-2 extra inning contest…opponents hit .213 with only four extra base hits…earned Academic All-GLVC honors. 

2015 (Freshman): Set a single-season Truman record with six games saved in 23 appearances…the 23 appearances were the second most by a Truman player…had a 0.94 ERA with a 3-1 record in 28.2 innings pitched…picked up a save in the NCAA Regional Tournament against William Jewell and was the winning pitcher in the championship clinching win in a 6-3 victory over Ashland…came in with two on and one out and got an inning ending double-play to keep the game tied heading to the ninth…pitched a scoreless ninth for the championship…allowed only three earned runs…pitched two innings in three games…earned GLVC Academic All-Conference.

High School: Posted the lowest earned run average in school history with a 0.34 with over 30 innings pitched as a senior…earned all-conference honors and was awarded a leadership award that had been dormant for eight years…a member of the German National Honor Society.
