Biography
2010-11 (Junior Season): Ranked fourth on the team in scoring and was the team’s second-leading rebounder after playing in all 26 games … averaged 9.8 ppg and 5.8 rpg in 21.3 minutes per contest … shot a team-best 51% from the floor and had 46 total offensive rebounds … finished the year as the MIAA’s fourth-best blocker with 26 … posted four double-doubles, including back-to-back ones in mid-December against SBU (11 & 10) and WU (13 & 10) … scored a season-high 18 points twice, both coming in wins against NWMSU and LU … had 13 games with 10+ points … started 23 of the team’s 26 games.
2009-10 (Sophomore Season): Was team’s leading scorer (11.6), offensive rebounder (50 total) and shot blocker (31 total) … played in all 27 games, starting 25 … shot 49% from the field and was a 67% foul shooter … posted six double-doubles, including an 18-point, 13-rebound effort against Div. I Western Illinois on Nov. 18 … scored a season-high 21 points against Missouri-St. Louis … reached double-figures in 18 games … had four blocks in a game twice.
2008-09 (Freshman Season II): Shot a team leading 60.2% from the floor….scored four points in just five minutes against Missouri Western…blocked a career high four shots on Feb. 12th against the Fort Hays State Tigers…set a career high with 18 points and was 7-of-10 from the floor, including his first career three-pointer against Pittsburg State on Jan. 28…was seventh in the MIAA in blocks per game (0.75)…averaged 5.3 points per game.
2007-08 (Freshman Season I): Received a medical redshirt after appearing in just five non-conference games … had 10 points on 5-of-8 shooting and seven rebounds in victory over Central Christian on Dec. 8th … made starts in his final two games of the season and shot 75% from the floor with six points against Southern Illinois University Edwardsville … recorded three blocks in 20 minutes of play against South Dakota on Dec. 16th.
Previous Experience: Was a member of the Bulgarian Junior National team...lost to Italy by one point in the seventh place game at the 2006 European Junior Championships...was scouted by NBADraft.net.
