Biography

2014 (Junior Season): Started all 54 games at shortstop, hitting .292 with eight doubles, a triple and 36 RBIs…recorded four hits in a game against Indianapolis (Ind.) on May 9 and drove in four runs in two games, one against Missouri S&T on March 29 and against Indianapolis on May 9…had 18 chances in April 16 game against Quincy (Ill.) that ties for second in Truman single-game history and set a school record in that same game with 11 assists breaking Gregg Lenich (1999) and Matt Thompson (1998) previous mark of 10…had nine assists against Drury on April 5 and seven against Wisconsin-Parkside on March 17…his 156 assists ranks second in single-season history at Truman and his 54 games started ties for the most by a Bulldog…had a team leading 10 multi-RBI games and 14 multi-hit games while reaching base in seven straight contests…had a season-best six-game hitting streak.

Previous School: A two-year starter at second base for Rend Lake College…hit .308 last season with 48 hits in 156 at bats and drove in 26 runs with 14 stolen bases…had a .958 fielding percentage…named all-conference academic.

High School: Was named both the offensive and defensive player of the year at Mount Vernon Township High School…set school single-season hit record with 66, run scored record with 62 and most triples with seven…two year starter and letterwinner, named all-conference…lettered and started in football and was honorable mention all-conference and team’s most valuable player…started at quarterback for one season…a national honor society member.
