Biography

2025: Thornton played in 17 games and recorded four hits with three RBIs. He provided positional flexibility, seeing time in the outfield and at third base.

High School: Thornton excels not only on the diamond, but on the hardwood as well, being a three-time first-team All-Conference player in both sports. He was also named Conference Player of the Year for baseball in 2022. Ian volunteered at canned food drives and baseball camps. Thornton was a member of National Honor Society and plans to study finance at Truman State.
