2010: Starting 48 games in the outfield, he committed only four errors with 69 putouts in 75 chances….270 batting average and 7 multi-hit games for the Bulldogs…has a four-game hitting streak leading into the 2011 season…tied for team high seven stolen bases on nine attempts…only current player to be in the top-15 in career hits with 121 and top-10 with stolen bases at 29.

2009: Started in 54 of the team’s 55 games and was the team’s everyday center-fielder … hit .297 on the season and was team-leader in hits (57) and at-bats (192) … had four doubles and a triple with 18 RBI while also stealing a team-high 14 bases … ranked second amongst regulars with a .984 fielding percentage … had success advancing baserunners, doing so at a 53% clip, up from the team average of 44%.

2008: Appeared in 42 games, starting 35 of them as a freshman... batted .273 and recorded 12 RBIs ... third on the team with eight stolen bases ... had ten multi-hit games ... had a three hit game against Southwest Baptist on April 4th.

High School: A speedster with a powerful bat, Swanson led his conference in stolen bases, with 12, and hit .436 at Wheat Ridge High School ... also led his team in the on base percentage, runs scored and stolen bases categories... played on the class 5A state runner-up team in 2007 and won both conference and district championships the same season ... named first team all-conference in 2006 and 2007 and was selected for the 2007 Jeffco 5A All-Star team ... started and lettered each of his last three seasons in basketball.

Personal: Born February 24, 1989 ...son of Rich and Kay Swanson ... is studying Pre-Business Administration at Truman.
