2017 (Junior): Came out of the bullpen 14 times while making four starts in his junior season…led the team in appearances with 18 and moved up to third on the all-time pitching wins list with 14…will enter senior season just two shy of tying the school record by teammate Alex Hoffmann…is currently tenth on the team’s all-time start list with 28 and tied for seventh with 11 complete games…will become the seventh pitching in Truman history to top 200 innings pitched with 196.2 entering final year…will crack into the top 10 in strikeouts with two, sits with 119…fanned a team-high 41 last season with five coming in two separate games…tossed a season-high six innings in a no decision to Illinois Springfield on April 18.

2016 (Sophomore): Was one of two Bulldogs to make 12 starts on the season and posted a 2-6 record with a 6.12 ERA…was 2-3 in GLVC games with a 4.89 ERA…logged a team-high 60.1 innings on the hill and led the staff in strikeouts with 42 while issuing 17 bases on balls…tossed a complete game four-hitter in a 2-1 win over Quincy on March 25…fanned a season-high seven in 6.1 innings pitched in a 4-3 loss to Maryville on April 9…will enter his junior season tied for sixth in career wins with 11.

2015 (Freshman): GLVC Freshman of the Year…First Team All-GLVC…only Freshman on the Daktronics all-Midwest Region team selected by CoSIDA…a Josh Willingham Award Finalist…tied for school record with nine wins for a pitcher with teammate Cody Gardner…won his first eight games started…seven of his 12 starts had been complete games with two shutouts…a two-time GLVC Pitcher of the Week honoree…got the win against Drury in regional tournament tossing six innings, allowing five runs, three earned…his 80.2 innings pitched was seventh most by a Bulldog hurler in a single-season.

High School: Named the 2012 Big 12 Conference (Ill.) Pitcher of the Year after going 7-2 with a 1.49 ERA and was 15-4 over the past two seasons with 109 strikeouts in 135 innings pitched. A two-time all-conference selection, Frantz has also been an IHSA Scholar Athlete and a four-year Honor Roll member at Bloomington.
